Centre Of Attention
The RBC Centre opened its doors in September 1998 and serves as one of the region's major sites for sporting, entertainment and consumer show industries. The facility features two OHL sized ice pads, a full service restaurant over looking two ice rinks, 43 corporate suites and seats up to 5,500 people.
The RBC Centre has been host to Musical Legends such as The Beach Boys, Alice Cooper, Lou Gramm and Charley Pride. World Class Figure Skating Shows including "The Great Skate" featuring Elvis Stojko and Victor Petrenko, "Dreams on Ice" featuring Lloyd Isabelle Brasseur and the "Holiday Festival on Ice" starring Kurt Browning have also taken to the ice at the RBC Centre. Location
The City of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada provides advertisers with ready access to major markets such as London, Ontario, Port Huron, Michigan and Detroit, Michigan. It is Lake Huron's largest city, located in southwestern Ontario at the mouth of the St. Clair River. State-of-the-Art
The wide-screen Sting Video Wall is an eight-sided video score clock mounted at centre ice and highly visible from all areas of the bowl. It is complete with four large video panels to see play by plays, replays, commercials, concert videos, etc. While on the subject of technology, the RBC Centre's in-house sound system features concert quality sound that is suitable for special events announcing, seat-side presentations, music and audio and commercials.
RBC Theatre at the SSEC
Through the support of RBC Financial Group the RBC Centre is excited to partner with RBC in providing a new theatre format within the RBC Centre, the 'RBC Theatre at the RBC Theatre'. This new venue for the Sarnia-Lambton community provides a scaleable building format to attract entertainment prospects of a different variety than have ever been seen at the RBC Centre. Theatrical plays, comedy, speakers and more will now have the opportunity to perform for appropriately sized audiences while taking advantage of all that the RBC Centre has to offer, in the form of professional amenities.
Additionally, the 'RBC Theatre at the RBC Centre' will be able to offer a multimedia experience unlike anything else available in Sarnia. An investment of technology will allow audio-visual spectacles ranging from feature film presentations to satellite-fed speaker productions.
